A view towards Sani Pass
A new addition to our tour series which go via Sani Pass and Black Mountain is this two/three day tour to Molumong Lodge and surrounds. It has many variations to it and one can make it longer and include activities such as fishing, pony rides, hiking, cycling etc. One can also add on days to go to Katse dam or Oxbow etc. Have a look at this post which provides one with a bit more info into this exciting area.

Finally the British and Irish Lions are here! Couldn’t wait to get in on the action and watch my team, the Natal Sharks vs the Lions at Kings Park (No further comment there but it was really good to see the Lions live!). Some of the Lions chaps I met there asked me about the tours I am running and if I could set up a link for them on my blog…so here it is to all you Lions supporters! Read more on our tours in Lesotho, the Drakensberg, the Battlefields of KZN and more.

Fishing in Lesotho can offer fantastic rewards for the enthusiast. The clear, beautiful mountain streams are surrounded by majestic mountain peaks and deep valleys. Rainbow trout and Yellow fish are in abundance here which makes this area one of the best fishing grounds in Southern Africa. The high altitude and cold mountain streams allow for year round fishing. Hit Lesotho at the right time and you’ll experience some of the best on offer. Top the day off with a dram of whiskey and a trout on the braai and you won’t be mistaken if you thought you were in fishing heaven. But before you head off here are some things you should know and some places you should try. Read more…

I’ll profile each one over the next few weeks but here’s one of the most exciting…paddling for two days down the Senqu river, the start of the mighty Orange river, as it winds itself through the majestic mountain valleys.
