Hiking the Drakensberg

Mountain Splendour
“As dawn broke I peeped out of my tent and found that three beautiful Eland antelope were grazing no further than a stone throw away from us. Great stuff! I crawled out of the tent, woke up Nic and we crept a little closer. Lying next to the stream and brewing some coffee on our small camp stove we watched these beautiful animals and admired how effortlessly they seemed to move over the harsh terrain of the Drakensberg Mountains.” Read more…

Lesotho Adventures.
The Blog has finally arrived (woohoo!),
So its time for all you Lesotho Adventurers to get blogging and share your thoughts.
For those of you who are wondering what’s the deal with the blog, here’s a little insight….As the L.O Tours community (and hopefully fan base) grows many have asked how to stay in touch with the latest tours, expeditions, adventures or progress on the Reach One, Teach One front. It can now all be mentioned on the blog, so keep your eye on it. For those of you who have made close friends on the tours and are now strewn all over the world, here’s a place to keep in touch.
So continue the adventure and share your thoughts. I look forward to it.

africa poem

African Dawn
I came
To see
To feel
To be
For a while
Part of Africa
To be nourished by the roots of humankind
To feel the earth beneath my feet
The soil between my toes
To taste the air
I came to listen to the voice of Africa
For the African sun to warm my soul
